The geophysical situation in the area of Myrtos – Harakas was never good. From the passage of IANOS onwards, however, it has became even worse.
The slope of Harakas had received a big blow from IANOS since the volume of rain that fell in the area created five “rivers”.
IANOS created five rivers next to Myrtos.
In the last few days it was found that in the same area, on the same slope there was a landslide:
This slope has now been badly damaged. It is the slope next to Myrtos that shows the general situation of the area and the dangers for Myrtos which is no longer accessible from the roads due to disasters from IANOS.
In the following graphics, the “rivers” created by IANOS are marked in red and the recent landslide in yellow.
